Making financial contributions has never been easier!
Financial donors also receive a Canadian charitable income tax receipt for the full donation amount, as well as Under the Radar, our newsletter several times per year, direct to your email inbox.
An in-kind gift of publicly traded securities such as stocks or mutual funds can also be directed to the museum through Canadahelps.org. Gifts of this kind come with a 100% wavier of capital gains, as well as a full receipt for the market value of the gift on the date of transfer.
Become a Member
Museum members receive our newsletter, information about the museum's activities, and may vote in person or by proxy at our Annual General Meeting. Membership fees are $50 for the year. Please make cheques payable to The Secrets of Radar Museum. Individuals will receive a Canadian charitable income tax receipt for the full amount, as well as our newsletter, Under the Radar, and voting privileges at our AGM.
Long-time volunteer, museum founder, and WW2 radar veteran, the late Roy Taylor gives visitors a first-hand account of his experiences. Roy's story is integral to the Museum narrative. Even though he is no longer with us, his experiences live on through our exhibits and volunteer tour guides.
Gifts-in-Kind: a different way to give
As a small, not-for-profit museum, where every penny we raise goes into our operations and programming, we don't have much left over for anything else. We can provide a tax receipt for your contribution if you or your company are able to support us with any of these gifts-in-kind:
Audit of our financial statements (high priority need)
Why an audit? More and more private and public funders now make official external audits part of their grant/sponsorship requirements, but audits are expensive. Without one, we can't apply for key funding, and without key funding, we can't afford an audit. Can you help?

Young or old, whether you're knowledgeable about radar or just want to lend a hand, we have a place for you. We welcome high school students looking to complete their 40 hours, too. We have traditionally taken interns and research assistants from various post-secondary programs, and, of course, we love the knowledge our radar veterans bring.
